Activities of the basic training course in the Diocese of Tama (June 29 – July 4, 2024)

Under the patronage and blessings of His Grace the esteemed Bishop Isaac, Bishop of the Diocese of Tama – Sohag, the Institute presented the “Basic Training Course” for 17 priests, 20 consecrated women, 10 female servants, and 14 male servants from the churches of the Diocese of Tama: (the Church of St. Mark the Apostle in Sahl Tama Al-Qibli, the Church of St. Abufam the Soldier, the Monastery of the Great St. Abona Yessi Mikhail, the Church of St. George and Prince Tadros Al-Shatby, the Church of St. Pakhomius in Naga’ Al-Arab, the Church of the Virgin Mary in Atiyat Musa, and the Church of St. Samuel the Confessor in Alama Al-Mansheya Al-Gedida).

The activities took place from June 29 to July 4, 2024 (22 Ba’una to 27 Ba’una 1740 A.M.). A number of the Institute’s professors, led by Dr. Magdy Latif, implemented the course by delivering 17 training sessions. At the end of the course, the participants evaluated the training program along with the individual training sessions. In the concluding session, the participants were also introduced to ways of presenting an applied project to serve the church/diocese in the upcoming period following the completion of the training.
