The Coptic Institute for Church Administration and Development concluded the activities of its Basic Training Course with the honor of the presence of His Grace the esteemed Anba Tadros, Metropolitan of the Diocese of Port Said, on December 16, 2020. The Basic Course was attended by 30 priests from 11 churches in the diocese. The course sessions were initially held on March 6-7, 2020, and later resumed via the Zoom application with notable effectiveness and efficiency, as acknowledged by the attendees throughout the training sessions, which extended remotely from November 29 to December 16, 2020.
At the conclusion of the sessions and days of the Basic Training Course, His Grace the esteemed Anba Tadros, Metropolitan of Port Said, opened the final session of the course, praising its success and effectiveness. One of the respected priests noted, “The immense benefit, the wonderful information, and the experiences we learned, which are useful for service in all fields—it wasn’t just information, but experiences and training.” Another priest expressed clear appreciation, stating, “We couldn’t have imagined the course turning out so wonderfully,” and “All evaluations for all the lecturers are excellent, and the only downside is the inability to communicate with you directly due to the pandemic.” Yet another priest added, “Thanks be to God, the source of all good, and you are trusted by the Church and His Holiness the Pope, the first fruits of the educational institutes. Thank you for establishing the eight pillars of wise stewardship.” The trainees also extended words of thanks and appreciation to every male and female trainer at the Institute for their outstanding performance and effective communication, and to Professor Dr. Magdy Latif, the Institute Director, for his visionary leadership.
