Signing a cooperation protocol between the Coptic Institute for Church Management and Development and the General Diwan of the Patriarchate in Alexandria.
On Wednesday, 22 Abib 1737 AH, corresponding to July 28, 2021, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Coptic Institute for Church Management and Development and the General Diwan of the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate in the Diocese of Alexandria, with the aim of supporting institutional development at the Diwan.
The protocol was signed on behalf of the Patriarchate’s Office by Fr. Abram Emil, General Vicar of the Patriarchate in the Diocese of Alexandria, and Dr. Magdy Latif El-Sandy, Dean of the Coptic Institute for Church Administration and Development. The signing ceremony was attended by Fr. Paulus Awad, Mr. Kyrillos Demian, Director of the Patriarchal Office, and a number of leaders and employees from various technical and administrative sectors of the Office. Representing the Coptic Institute for Church Administration and Development were Dr. Magdy Ibrahim and Mr. Maged Fakhry, representing the Institute’s faculty and administration.
The protocol represents a significant qualitative shift in institutional cooperation between two Coptic bodies, and represents an extension of the Institute’s work in supporting the institutional development of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
