Under the patronage of His Grace Bishop Gabriel, Bishop of the Diocese of Austria and the German sector of Switzerland, a training program was conducted at the Monastery of St. Anthony in Vienna from August 25 to 27, 2025.

By the kind invitation and honored presence of His Grace Bishop Gabriel, Bishop of the Diocese of Austria and the German sector of Switzerland, the course “Introduction to Ecclesiastical Stewardship and Service System Management” was conducted at the Monastery of St. Anthony in Vienna over three days from August 25 to 27, 2025, for the leadership of the diocese.

The course provided an introduction to ecclesiastical stewardship, detailing the various roles within the church and how each role and service can integrate and harmonize to achieve the desired fruits of service. It also included interactive lectures and workshops on managing the service system, using biblical examples like Nehemiah, as well as practical examples from real-life service scenarios.

Thirty-five priests, monks, nuns, and deacons from all churches in the diocese participated in the training program. Bishop Gabriel expressed his happiness with the course and its positive outcomes, which will reflect on all areas of service. The feedback from all attendees was extremely positive, and one of the significant results was the agreement among the participants to adopt the service management model across various services, with an emphasis on the integration of all targeted services and activities to achieve the best possible forms of service and care for the served individuals.
