The President of the United Arab Emirates honors Dr. Tandiar Samir (Director of the JOSAP Foundation and a faculty member at the Institute)

President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, honors the Josab Foundation for Community Development – Hospice Egypt for winning first place in the seventh session of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (Mother of the Emirates) Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence.

The Coptic Institute for Church Management and Development extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Tandiar Samir, a faculty member in several training programs at the Institute, and the General Manager of the JOSAP Foundation for the Service of Medical Cases in recent days, on the occasion of the JOSAP Foundation winning first place for excellence and community intelligence in the seventh session of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (Mother of the Emirates) Program, which is highly appreciated and admired by all.

The Josab Foundation for Community Development – Hospice Egypt Project won first place in the category of organizations that initiate initiatives to support and sponsor community issues, in the Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence, which is chaired by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Martyrs’ Families, and His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Vice President.

The award was received by Dr. Tendyar Samir, General Manager of the Foundation, at the ceremony held on February 24, 2025, at Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi, specially for this occasion. This recognition was due to the Foundation’s prominent and pioneering role in caring for and serving patients in the final stages of illness through free hospice services aimed at preserving patient dignity. Dr. Tendyar received the award from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. This award is considered a high honor in the Gulf region, and the title “Knights of Development” was bestowed upon the award winners.

Organized by the Emirates Foundation for Family Development, this award honors individuals and organizations that address societal challenges. The list of honorees included a number of creative and distinguished individuals in the following categories: cultural, artistic, and media excellence; science and future technology; and social responsibility, which was headed by the Josab Foundation for Community Development – Hospice Egypt.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed that the UAE attaches great importance to social cohesion, stability, and the preservation of its authentic values. His Highness called on us to continue working and presenting ideas and initiatives that support society, strengthen its strength, and contribute to achieving the country’s vision in this area.

His Highness congratulated all the winners in the categories of the seventh edition of the Sheikha Fatima Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence, commending their distinguished role and initiatives in serving the community, and praising their role as an honorable model who has made a real difference in their communities.
