The Dean of the Institute participates in the Priests and Pastors Committee Conference organized by the Egyptian Council of Churches.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II inaugurated the conference of the Priests and Pastors Committee under the slogan “Shepherds After My Own Heart” (Jeremiah 3:15). The conference lasted for three days from October 14-16, 2024, with the attendance of 130 priests and pastors from the five member churches of the Council of Churches in Egypt.
The meeting was held at the Logos Center in Wadi El-Natrun, and lectures were delivered with the participation of His Grace the esteemed Bishop Hermina, General Bishop; and Fr. Paul George, Pastor of St. Mark’s Church in New Cairo. On the final day of the conference, the Dean of the Coptic Institute for Church Administration and Development participated by delivering a lecture on “Vision in Christian Leadership.”
It is worth noting that the Council of Churches in Egypt was founded by His Holiness the late Pope Shenouda III of blessed memory.
