فعاليات ندوة “منهج القيادة المؤسسية في الكنيسة” بالمقر البابوى بالعباسية

ترأس قداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني بابا الإسكندرية وبطريرك الكرازة المرقسية، الندوة التفاعلية التي نظمها المعهد القبطي للتدبير الكنسي والتنمية (COPTICAD) تحت عنوان “منهج القيادة المؤسسية في الكنيسة: لماذا أصبح ضرورة؟”. وعُقدت الفعالية صباح اليوم بالمقر البابوي في القاهرة، بحضور عدد من الآباء الأساقفة والكهنة والخدام من مختلف الإيبارشيات والقطاعات الخدمية.

وركزت الندوة على مناقشة مفهوم وأهمية القيادة المؤسسية، والتحديات التي تواجه تطبيقها في العمل الكنسي، إلى جانب الدور المحوري للمعهد في نشر هذه الثقافة التي يتبناها قداسة البابا. واختتمت الفعالية بعدد من التوصيات، أبرزها ضرورة بناء قدرات القادة على جميع المستويات وتمكينهم بمهارات القيادة المؤسسية، وذلك انطلاقًا من الخبرة التي اكتسبها المعهد على مدى عقد من العمل في مجال التطوير المؤسسي.

وتأتي هذه الندوة ضمن سلسلة فعاليات ينظمها (COPTICAD) احتفاءً بمرور عشر سنوات على تأسيسه على يد قداسة البابا في عام ٢٠١٥.

Under the patronage of His Grace Bishop Michael, Bishop of the Diocese of Helwan, Maadi and its dependencies, the Institute of Management concluded the first leadership preparation program for the Diocese of Helwan on Saturday, June 21, 2025 AD, 14 Baounah 1741 SH, which was held at the Institute’s headquarters in the Fifth Settlement.

His Eminence inaugurated the training program, which began on May 30, 2025, and also attended some of the opening and closing sessions of the program, which ended on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

Twenty-three young men from the diocese, including service trustees and church council members, participated in the training. Dr. Magdy Latif, Director of the Institute, praised the trainees' active participation and the suggestions they presented to develop the service.

The training program included 17 training sessions that covered the importance of church management, synergy, identity, institutional development, principles of wise management, and how to benefit from the training program.

Basic training course activities for scout leaders

Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, and under the supervision of Dr. Samuel Mattias, Secretary-General of the Scout Service, the activities of the basic training course for 26 male and female servants (4 female servants and 22 male servants) from the Scout leaders in the Coptic Orthodox Church kicked off. The supplementary course began on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, and lasted for three days, ending on Thursday, June 5, 2025 (26-28 Bashans 1741 AM). The training course included interactive sessions on "Coptic Identity," "Teamwork," "Organizational Structures," "External and Internal Communication," and "Applications of Wise Management in Service."

Activities of the basic training course for a number of priests and servants in the Diocese of Shubra El-Kheima and its dependencies

Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and under the supervision of His Grace Bishop Noufer, Bishop of the Diocese of Shubra El-Kheima and its dependencies, the Coptic Institute for Church Management and Development implemented the basic training course program on “Wise Church Management and Development” for (15) priests and two servants (a male and female servant) during the period from May 19 to 25, 2025.

During the training course, presented by a distinguished group of trainers from the Institute, the participating priests learned about the meaning of **wise management** in the Church and its **biblical, ecclesiastical, and scientific foundations**. They also discovered its **importance for the priest as a manager**, and explored the **pillars of wise management** and how they integrate within the Church. Furthermore, they grasped the **importance of a vision for the church leader**, how to **acquire the necessary skills to create a strategic plan for the Church**, and how to **apply the principles of participation within the Church**..

Activities of the training course for newly ordained priests - Logos Center - Wadi El Natrun (March 21-26, 2025)

Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, His Holiness inaugurated the training program on Friday, March 21, 2025, corresponding to 12 Baramhat 1741 AM, which extended until Wednesday, March 26, 2025, corresponding to 17 Baramhat 1741 AM, for 61 newly ordained priests from the following dioceses: Cairo, Alexandria, and a number of Upper and Lower Egypt dioceses (Luxor - Alexandria - Esna and Armant), in addition to 9 new priests from the dioceses of (United States - Australia - Uganda). His Holiness the Pope delivered an opening speech on the occasion of the start of the training program, in which he meditated on the dimensions of priestly service through the letter "Kaf."

1- The Holy Bible:He is the primary reference in everything, andIt represents a source of comfort for personal life, andIt must be read carefully and the verses and evidence must be identified correctly.

2- The Church:It is the place that was founded by Jesus Christ, as mentioned in Matthew 16, andClosely connected to Christ, andIts teachings, laws and rituals must be preserved.

3- Kyrie Eleison: It means "Lord have mercy"It expresses a request for mercy and repentance, and this It requires a priest to be repentant before he can call others to repentance.

4- The Catholicon: It means "university" or "comprehensive",It requires that the priest's service be inclusive of all groups.It includes visiting, which is considered an essential work of the priest.

5- Kiahk: It is the month of glorification, vigilance, and contemplation of the life of the Virgin Mary.It symbolizes the exit from the darkness of the world to the light of eternity, as well as The month of Kiahk has special rituals, such as its night prayers and hymns.Honoring the Virgin Mary.

6- St. Mark's Chair: It symbolizes the church system (patriarch, bishops, priests, deacons, servants), It means the necessity of respecting and appreciating priests, andIt refers to the spread of the Coptic Church throughout the world, andThe servant must be obedient and humble.

7- Preaching: It is spreading the fragrant scent of Christ everywhere, andIt is done through the loving relationships that the priest pours into others, as well as The Coptic Church is present in 100 countries around the world.

The training sessions for groups of newly ordained priests were presented by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Magdy Latif, and a distinguished group of professors from the Institute.

President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, honors the Josab Foundation for Community Development - Hospice Egypt for winning first place in the seventh session of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (Mother of the Emirates) Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence.

Activities of the training course “Wise Management and Strategic Planning for Service” for Scout Leaders of the Coptic Orthodox Church

Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, and the supervision of Dr. Samuel Matthias, Secretary General of the Scout Service, a training course entitled “Wise Management and Strategic Planning for the Service” was launched for 26 male and female servants (4 female servants and 22 male servants) from the Scout leaders of the Coptic Orthodox Church. The course began on Friday, March 7, 2025 (Amshir 28, 1741 A.M.) and continued for two days, concluding on Saturday, March 8 (Amshir 29, 1741 A.M.).

--- Dr. Magdy Latif, Dean of the Coptic Institute for Church Management and Development, opened the inaugural session, where he reviewed the importance of **wise management** in leading the Scout service, in addition to the **biblical foundations for managing and organizing the service**. Training course activities in the Diocese of Sydney, Australia (February 1-9, 2025)

Under the patronage of His Grace Bishop Daniel, Bishop of the Diocese of Sydney and its dependencies in Australia, from February 1 to 9, 2025, the Diocese of Sydney, Australia, hosted the Institute’s team, led by Dr. Magdy Latif, Dean of the Institute.
