Activities of the training course “Wise Management and Strategic Planning for Service” for Coptic Orthodox Church Scout Leaders

Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the supervision of Dr. Samuel Matta, Secretary-General of the Scouting Service, a training course titled “Wise Stewardship and Strategic Planning for Service” was launched for 26 male and female servants (4 female and 22 male) from the scouting leaders in the Coptic Orthodox Church. The course began on Friday, March 7, 2025 (28 Amshir 1741 A.M.) and lasted for two days, concluding on Saturday, March 8 (29 Amshir 1741 A.M.).

The opening session was inaugurated by Dr. Magdy Latif, Dean of the Coptic Institute for Church Administration and Development, where he reviewed the importance of wise stewardship in managing the scouting service, in addition to the biblical foundations for managing and organizing the service. The Institute’s faculty members and certified trainers presented seven intensive sessions covering concepts of “Wise Stewardship and Principles of Sound Church Administration,” how to achieve effective communication inside and outside the church, in addition to practical sessions on “Strategic Planning for Service.”
